We have the great pleasure to invite you to the EUROPA Hotel – the oldest hotel facility in the city of Jelenia Góra - the “Pearl of Karkonosze”.

Spacious and modern furnished rooms in the EUROPA Hotel perfectly harmonise with the stylish character of the object. Significant assets which distinguish our hotel from other establishments in the region are not only the localization of the hotel in the heart of Jelenia Góra, but also the capaciousness of rooms, conference premises as well as numerous halls and corridors.

Our rooms

Both single and double rooms are spacious and thanks to the significantly large floor space there is also a possibility of putting an extra bed in the most numbers rooms. This solution automatically lowers the price of accommodation.

Studio type room with the area of 70 m2 consists of living room, bedroom and large bathroom with a bath.

•  double: bathroom with a shower, TV SAT, wireless internet, coffee and tea machines,
•  Studio type room: bathroom with a bath TV SAT, wireless internet, coffee and tea machines.

Notes:

• Hotel restaurant

Hotel offers B&B accommodation (breakfast in the form of a buffet) or full board (HB, FB). The restaurant is open everyday from 7 a.m. until 10 p.m.; however, it is also possible to serve breakfast even at 5 o’clock in the morning. The restaurant offers room service for its clients. Menu is diversified and includes dishes from many parts of the world (traditional Polish cuisine, Italian cuisine, etc) as well as diet meals (e.g. for diabetics, vegetarian cuisine).

 

• Parking

Near the hotel guests can find a secure car park which is open 24 hours a day. The entrance to the hotel car park is in Armii Krajowej Street. Number of parking spaces – 37. Number of garages – 8.

• Relax studio

We offer our guests with the mini “Relax Studio” furnished with fitness and massage equipment. During the stay in the hotel our guests can use the fitness equipment everyday for 1 hour free of charge.

Most interesting places and sights in Jelenia Góra:

• Old town with preserved shape of medieval burgh which was originally surrounded by defensive walls with classic town hall built in the years 1744-1747.
• Fountain with the sculpture of Neptune in the town square.
• Remaining of the defensive walls which can be spotted during the journey from Podwale towards Jasna Street.
• Towers: Castle Tower, Grodzka Tower and Wojanowska Tower extended by barbican in 1514 which was later change into St. Anna Chapel.
• St. Erasmus and St. Pancras Minor Basilica.
• St. Peter and St. Paul Orthodox Church.
• Saint Cross Church in Jelenia Gora.

Historic outline

At the beginning of the 18th century the location where the hotel is situated today was covered with vast gardens which were later replaced by “Karczma Wojanowska” tavern. This was the place in which people that missed the chance of crossing the city gate before their closing could find lodging for the night.

Surely this was the reason for establishing the “Drei Berg” Hotel in 1820 whose name is related with three mountains situated within Jelenia Góra city limits (nowadays these are: Krzywousty Hill, Kościuszko Hill and the Hill of Partisans).

Luxurious for its time Hotel was visited by famous people e.g. Princess Marie of Orléans in 1836 or Prince William of Prussia, later Emperor William I in 1855.

The EUROPA Hotel underwent significant changes and got its current appearance during the general reconstruction which took place in the years 1895 -1910.
